"Fantasia-19" is about a troubled pianist who, inspired by the presence of a special being, manages to compose a masterpiece. A film about two lonely women that explores the boundary between madness and genius.
About The Film.
"Fantasia-19" merges magical realism with touches of psychological suspense to address the themes of obsession and loneliness, as well as exploring the link between art and spirituality. Mostly shot in a single location, and with only two main characters throughout its duration, "Fantasia-19" is a kind of dreamlike state that allows us to penetrate the human psyche to scrutinize its intimate and dark chambers. Its meticulous artistic proposal and the progressively appearing prop elements are small kitsch treasures that transport the film to a parallel universe inhabited by imaginary characters, detached from society.
